Human-centered, Research and Development
The above mixed-methods research comic depicts research methodologies over a figurative "front stage" and "backstage" of your business. It is a visual list of salient design research techniques: Contextual Interviewing, Experience Observations, Card sorts, Surveys, Workshops, Operations Planning, Prototyping, Insight Reports, Desk Research, Data Synthesis. Getting the full picture can be complicated, and, at a glance, overwhelming.

UNDERSTANDING
SYSTEMS
TOGETHER
Integrated Design starts with Your Customer. Clarifying each touch-point and pain point in your customer experience (CX), so you can see and plan where to take coordinated actions. You will be able to build scopes that bridge from physical interactions like store experience to digital, like your website, and launch omni-channel campaigns with ease. Once you have a clear view you can evolve customer engagement with your company: add new touch points, weave in new services and ways to coordinate service. Or…… if you can keep it all in your head, just tell me what you want and I will design a set of design deliverables for you. One person to coordinate with handling your physical and digital design deliverables.
Service Design goes one layer deeper. It aims to visualize everything that supports the Customer Experience from infrastructure to personnel. This is a floor to ceiling window into your business, getting everything in front of you, so you can make comprehensive plans, track who needs-to-know what and update everything together. It makes launching new programs and changes to existing operations tractable. PLUS, it keeps everyone in the know and understanding, increasing agility project on-boarding and adoption.
Integrated Design can get complex,
but the Delivery Formula is simple.

Testimonials
“At MPM, we often bring Chad onto projects that push the scope of design. Chad has helped us with everything from recruiting and webpages to broadening the reach of our procurement processes. We appreciate the strategy and context built into his work. No matter the project he carefully lays out and clarifies our options alongside some thoughtful recommendations. He is a great help for a very reasonable price.”

Chad really listened to the needs I had for the spaces I wanted to renovate. He saw my vision and based the entire project on it and provided me with much needed and appreciated practical information and ideas. It is a tricky project because this is a historic home with all of the quirks that come with that and he helped me to design something that both honors the historic aesthetic but with modern day practical functionality. He also provided enhancement ideas to the design that would make the finished product even more compatible with my lifestyle and needs. Renovation projects on older homes are never easy, but being excited about the finished project is great.
